Great-Aunt Isabel brought Johnny (whose family was Irish) home to meet her parents. While he was there, Johnny kept asking for water. Isabel's mom told her, "If a man's too thirsty, he's trouble." She suspected that it wasn't really water that he wanted--he wanted beer, and Isabel. But Isabel didn't listen to her mother.
Pour a shot of Irish Whiskey into a stemmed 6 oz. glass.
Fill the glass to within a half-inch of the brim with hot, strong black coffee.
Stir in sugar to taste.
Top off with slightly whipped cream--the cream should float on the top.
Don't stir the cream in as the unique flavour is obtained by drinking the hot coffee and Irish Whiskey through the cool cream.
