Simple Mushroom Gravy

  • 1/2 medium onion chopped
  • 1 can drained mushrooms
  • 1-2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1-2 cups cold beef bouillion, chicken stock, or vegetable stock
  • 1-2 tbsp. sour cream or heavy cream

  1. Brown diced onions in butter. Add mushrooms.
  2. Whisk flour in cold bouillion, then add to onions and butter, stir till thickened.
  3. Stir in some sour cream or cream and simmer on low till serving time.
