- 1 lb. (500 g) smoked salmon
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup melted, unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp vodka or gin
- 1 cup (250 ml) whipping cream
- salt and white pepper to taste
- Discard salmon skin and bones. Cut salmon into chunks.
- In a blender or food processor, lightly mix salmon, lemon juice, butter and vodka or gin.
- Add whipping cream and mix till smooth.
- Season to taste.
Refrigerate until serving.
Serve with crackers or small squares of pumpernickel.
