Apple Bundt Cake

  • 4 eggs
  • 2-1/2 tsp. real vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups granulated white sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 5-6 peeled, sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup white sugar mixed with 2 tsp. cinnamon

Sift together flour and baking powder. In mixer, combine eggs, vanilla, orange juice, oil. Gradually, at low speed, add sugar, then flour mixture. Mix at medium speed for 10 minutes till well combined. Pour a third of the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan (twelve cup size.) Place half the apple slices over the batter. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Pour another third of the batter on top. Place the rest of the apple slices over that. Sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon/sugar. Pour remaining batter on top and bake in preheated 350 degree F oven 1 hour or more till done.
