Great Xpresspost Service from Canada Post

Yesterday after noon hour, I went to the post office to mail three parcels. I sent all three using Canada Post's Xpresspost service. It's a bit more expensive than standard parcel service, that promises delivery within a week, but less expensive than Priority Service, which promises next-day delivery.

 

The parcels were all tins of fresh, home-made cookies, sent to three college students in different parts of the province of Ontario, from the city of Toronto. Xpresspost promised delivery in 1-2 days. The results?

The parcel sent to Ottawa was delivered the next day, this morning. The recipient told me she was thrilled to get the "healthy cookies" for breakfast. She had them with her coffee before rushing off to school. She was somewhat less thrilled to get the "sensible underwear" packaged along with them.

The parcel sent to Sudbury was delivered the next day, this morning at 7:43 A.M. probably before the recipient was even out of bed.

The parcel sent to London, Ontario was delivered at 10 A.M. It included a birthday gift, and I was happy the package got there before her birthday tomorrow. Great service, Canada Post.
