White Wine Pairings

Whatever you really like and can afford is right.
Some foods pair better with certain types of wine.
  • Spicy Foods:  Asian, Creole, and Indian dishes-- dry troken Riesling or Gewurztraminer.
  • Fish and Seafood (including sushi), Veggies & Dip, Greek or Caesar Salad :  Sauvignon Blanc.
  • Chicken, Pork, Macaroni and cheese, meals with cream-based sauces, chicken or vegetable Pizza:  Chardonnay or Orvieto Classico
  • Cheese plate, Pesto Pasta Salad, Italian, fish: Pinot Grigio
  • Chicken, veal, light cheeses, tomato/basil/mozzarella plate, macaroni and mild cheese, seafood:  Pinot Blanc
  • Chicken, veal, pork: Chenin Blanc
