Chia Seeds

A serving of chia seed, according to the advertising for Webber Naturals ChiaNutra, provides  9 times more omega-3 than salmon, five times more calcium than milk, 3 times more fibre than oats, and 1.7 times more potassium than bananas.  Chia seeds are low in calories. Added to smoothies, the little seeds absord liquid and turn into a tapioca-like gel. Add them to add to soups or sauces as a thickener.  On cereal, chia seeds add crunch.

Flax Seed

Flax seed is supposed to be a source of estrogen.
Soak 2 tsp flax seed in water overnight and add to your breakfast smoothie or cereal along with 2 tsp soaked pumpkin seeds.

Hemp Seeds 

Adds a nutty flavour to soups and salads or smoothies.
Daily use of hemp seed oil may  help improve dry skin within 2 weeks.
