No Strings Attached -- Natalie Portman hooks up with buddy Ashton Kutcher, but both say they don't want a relationship, till they do so many embarassingly stupid things they realize they're only right for each other.
Just Go With It -- Jennifer Aniston has to pretend to be a couple with Adam Sandler but after he does lots of endearing, embarrassingly stupid things they hook up, because they are really only right for each other.
Big Momma Like Father Like Son --embarassingly stupid things happen when males cross-dress in fat suits at a girls' school.
I Am Number Four --A conflicted young man finds out he has special sci fi abilities, with special effects by DreamWorks and lots of action scenes. Critics say blah, but teenboys like it.
Justin Bieber: Never Say Never 3D--Potentially a sci fi film about a teenboy who has special musical abilities and grows a strange haircut that gives him power over teengirls. Everyone says blah about this one except teengirls.
The Eagle --A conflicted Roman soldier has to fight a lot and find a lost Roman Eagle with the help of a sidekick slave who has the special ability to find his way through the foggy wilds of Scotland.
Green Hornet 3D --Do you think this might be about a guy who becomes conflicted when he finds out he has special sci fi abilities and has to fight a lot?
The Fighter - Poor, conflicted Irish/American brothers fight and take drugs but overcome their difficulties to compete in London at a boxing championship. Critics liked this one.
The King's Speech - Just before WWII, our present Queen's conflicted dad becomes King and has to overcome his stuttering to make a radio speech in London. Critics liked this one too.
The Roommate -- A girl gets a conflicted roommate who looks a lot like her! Roomie starts acting horribly, like she could even be possessed, but this is not an exorcist movie, so unfortunately the girl can't call the priests mentioned below. And it's not set in London, and there's no famous teenboy as a leading character. or expensive action scenes, or a comedian to hook up with, so you know this one will end badly and no one will like it.
The Rite -- A young, conflicted American student-priest is transferred to exorcism school and apprenticed to an old exorcist, the Hannibal the Cannibal Actor, which is probably the most frightening thing about this movie. Will the young priest find the faith to fight the devil himself when the old priest is exposed as an alcoholic with heart problems or is thrown out a window or both? (I don't know if this happens, just guessing.)
The Mechanic - When an assassin's mentor is killed, he finds himself wanting revenge, an emotion in conflict with his "mechanical killer" persona. Killing becomes even more complicated but not more endearing, when he takes on his mentor's son as his apprentice.
Unknown - Liam Neeson in another movie that warns of the dangers of travelling abroad. (You might have seen him already as an endearing, ex-assassin dad who ran around Europe dodging killers to save his daughter, who'd met a bad guy at the Paris airport and was kidnapped by sex slave traders.) In this movie, Liam flies to Germany with his wife to attend a convention. Almost as soon as he arrives, he's almost killed in a car accident. He recovers only to find his identity has been assumed by a stranger and his wife denies knowing him. Why? To find out, Liam must run and stunt-drive around Berlin dodging assassins, with the help of a girl who looks like young enough to be his daughter.
