- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 3 slices bread
- 1 lb. bulk Maple Leaf sausage meat
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
In microwave or frying pan, brown 1 lb. bulk sausage in a frying pan, breaking into small pieces with a fork. Drain grease from cooked sausage meat.
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt and mustard.
Cut the 3 slices bread into cubes.
Spread the cubed bread on the bottom of the greased pan.
Spread cooked, drained, crumbled sausage over bread.
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Pour egg mixture on top.
Refrigerate overnight, or bake immediately.
Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven for 45 minutes.
