Forwarding and Photo-Sharing

With e-mails as well as anything else, consider the feelings and reputation of others before you make their photos or news public.
  • Get permission from the original sender before you forward a personal message to anyone else: "That's a funny story. Do you mind if I share it with Cousin Sam?"
  •  Avoid sending personal emails to workplace e-mail addresses.
  • A photo or video is inappropriate if it could ever cause embarrassment. Ask permission of the people in media you take or receive, before sharing.
