Dough
1-1/2 cups milk, warmed
1 tsp. sugar
1 pkg active dry yeast (8 g)
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup oil (vegetable or olive oil)
Stir sugar into warmed milk.
Sprinkle yeast on top of sugar and milk mixture. Let stand 3 minutes.
Stir yeast into milk.
Sift flour and salt into a large bowl.
Add yeast mixture and oil.
Combine to form dough.
On a floured surface, knead dough till smooth (5 min.)
Divide dough into 8 pieces, pat into rounds.
Roll each round into 6" pizzas.
Place on greased cookie sheets.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Sauce
1 14 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. each basil and oregano
Spread sauce onto pizza, sprinkle with basil and oregano.
Alternatively, brush olive oil onto each pizza round and top with drained diced tomato or tomato slices.
Add sliced toppings (veggies, meats) that you like.
Top with 1-2 oz. grated mozzarella per pizza round.
Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes or till edges of crust are golden and top is bubbly.
