Baked Rice Pudding #2

  • 1/2 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
Combine ingredients and pour into a buttered casserole dish.
Bake in a 350 degree F oven about 2 hours.
When rice is soft, remove the cover.
Keep in the oven till the top is lightly browned.
Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup or a sprinkling of brown sugar and a little cream if desired.
