- 1 Tbsp softened butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup unsalted peanuts
- 2 cups rice cereal (Rice Krispies)
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Grease an 8 x 8 inch square pan.
In a saucepan, mix butter, peanut butter, sugar and corn syrup.
Stir and heat just until it starts to boil.

Take pot off the stove.
Mix in peanuts and rice cereal.
Press mixture into greased pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top while mixture is still warm.
Cover with aluminum foil to hasten melting of the chocolate.
Spread softened chocolate chips evenly.
Refrigerate.
Cut into squares to serve.
