Smartie Cookies

• 1/2 cup butter, margarine or shortening
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup white sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup Smarties or M & Ms

Cream butter and sugars.
Into measuring cup with 1/4 cup milk, beat the egg.

Add to creamed mixture.

Stir baking soda and salt with flour, add to cookie batter.

Stir in candies.

Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake 8-10 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven.
