Road Trip Vehicle Preparation Checklist

Check your vehicle's fluid levels and tire pressure regularly--and don't forget to make sure your windshield wipers are in good condition and that the window defogger is working. Make sure your vehicle is serviced regularly (scheduled maintenance appointments are up to date and your vehicle is in excellent condition. Here's a checklist of items that might help you in ensuring that you're prepared for a road trip. Some items you might wonder about--why would you need a crowbar in your car? However, if you've ever read about someone trapped inside a car because they couldn't open the door in an emergency situation--you'd think it might be a good idea to keep a crowbar somewhere under the seat, that you can reach in case you need to smash a window to get out....
