You'll need almost 2 cups in this recipe, or use a 15 oz. can of cranberry sauce.
- 1-3/4 cup oats
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
- 3/4 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 15 oz. whole cranberry sauce
Lightly grease a 9 x 9 inch pan.
Sift baking soda into a bowl with flour.
Mix in brown sugar and oats.
Cut in butter with a pastry blender or two knives, work in with fingertips
Pat half of the crumbly mixture into the pan.
Spread the cranberry sauce over this.
Pat the second half of the oat mixture on top
Bake for 45 minutes.
