2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/4 cup soft butter
1 cup icing sugar
2 tsp vanilla
Combine flour and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream together soft butter, icing sugar and vanilla
Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture.
Cover and chill 20 minutes.
Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick then cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Bake in pre-heated 325 degree F oven 11-12 minutes or till golden.
