Peach Dessert

If some of the peaches you buy aren't quite ripe, put them in a box covered with newspaper to help them ripen more quickly. Use ripe peaches in this recipe and when making peach pie.
  • 6 peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Dip cut side of peaches in sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Place sugar side down in the buttered pan.
  4. Cook until carmelized and soft.
  5. Serve with ice cream or caramel sauce and candied nuts.
